Our treehouses and cabins offer a great getaway. As always, the safety and security of our guests and team members remain our highest priority. We take great pride in our high standards for cleanliness, including CDC and WHO cleaning protocols and complete linen changing on all bedding.
Once you have selected a date and property, click any "Book Now" button and you'll be taken to our central online reservation booking engine.
If you have booked multiple accommodations under one name, you will be responsible for sharing all arrival information and the door keycode with your guests. We are unable to share this code with anyone else.
We highly recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles during your travels to the resort in winter months. Roads in the area are rural and steep. Please allow yourself ample travel time. We are not able to assist if guests get stuck and recommend calling AAA for roadside assistance if needed.
We offer rose petals, chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne, and more. You can add any of these items once your booking is complete, or by calling 740-599-9030 (option 2).
If you would like to add a special occasion item to a stay for someone else, please contact us or give us a call.
There is a 13.25% additional tax added to each reservation (7.25% sales tax, 3% lodging tax, and 3% Jefferson Township tax).
A $75 Guest Service Fee will also be applied to each reservation.
A $75 cleaning fee will be added to any one-night stays in the Mohican Cabin, Farm House, and Manor House. This fee is waived for wedding guests who book using the lodging group code link.
Check-in is 3:00 p.m.
Due to the size and complexity of our properties, our housekeepers need every minute of their 10:00 am to 3:00 pm window to ensure cleanliness. Please do not interfere with their work or pressure our staff to allow early entry. There are no check-ins after 11:00 pm as a courtesy to other guests. No property keys or access codes will be issued until the rental balance is paid in full and the waiver has been returned.
Contactless check-in: head straight to your accommodation when you arrive and use your keycode for entry. If you've booked multiple accommodations, please make sure all guests have the correct door codes, as we are unable to share this information with guests.

Any unauthorized treehouse elopements or weddings on the property are strictly prohibited. If you're interested in a treehouse elopement, please inquire here. If our staff sees an unauthorized event in progress, you will be asked to end it immediately.

We offer catch-and-release fishing only in the pond. Fishing equipment is not provided.

Cell phone service is limited in some areas of the property. In case of emergency, there are two emergency phone boxes, one located at the top of the South Village driveway and one located at the information hut at the North Village. If you are without cell service at your treehouse or cabin and need to make an emergency 911 call, or need immediate emergency assistance from Mohicans staff due to a serious problem, please locate one of these phones.
After-hours emergency calls to Mohicans staff: (740) 599-9030, option 5, or 911 for emergencies.
There is no internet/WiFi available for the cabins and treehouses located in the South Village. There is limited satellite internet service available at the North Village accommodations (Mohican, Nest, Tin Shed, White Oak). The country homes, The Farmhouse and The Manor House, do have satellite internet available. Enjoy your unplugged stay!
We perform regular maintenance on every cabin, however, as with all properties, occasionally something malfunctions at the most inopportune time. We will do our best to correct the problem during your visit and make you as comfortable as possible. We cannot guarantee appliances, TVs, DVD players, air conditioners, etc., and there will be no refunds, discounts, or rate adjustments in the event of mechanical failure.
The Mohicans, the property owner, their agents, service providers, and employees have the right to access the premises during your stay to make repairs or inspections. Please immediately report any needed repairs to The Mohicans at 740-599-9030 (after hours, select option 4) so we can correct the problem. We will make every effort to have repairs done quickly and effectively.
Each property is decorated and furnished by the owner. Rearranging of furniture is not permitted. If you have specific needs or requirements, you must seek permission from The Mohicans.
The Mohicans housekeeping staff provides cleaning service for each property.
Towels are provided. Please bring extra towels for canoeing or other water activities you may be enjoying in the area.
The Mohican area has one of the most enjoyable ecosystems on earth, and insects are a part of that system. We try to control this natural occurrence by regularly spraying for insects. The most common pests that may find their way into our cabins include ladybugs, flies, mosquitoes, and wasps. We do not give refunds due to pest discomfort. Please do not leave any garbage outside or on porches or decks, as this invites unwanted guests.
Ground fires are allowed in the provided fire rings only. All fires must be attended at all times and put out before going inside for the night or leaving the property. Please do not throw cans or glass in the fire pit. We occasionally have firewood available onsite, however we cannot guarantee it will be fully stocked or its condition. Firewood can be purchased in the town of Loudonville at the Marathon on Rt. 3 near Trails End Pizza, or at many places along Wally Road.
11 pm to 7 am is quiet time. There are no check-ins during this time. Sounds carry farther at night, please be considerate of others. Loud noise or music must be confined to your cabin at all hours. Loud or abusive behavior or language will not be tolerated, eviction will result without any refund.
Children are welcome, but are the responsibility of the parents and must be supervised at all times. You will be held accountable for your child's safety and actions.
Children aged 4 and older are considered an adult guest and count toward the guest count. There is no charge for children aged 3 and under.
If any of the above are found on the property, you will be asked to leave the premises with no refund.
Paths to cabins and treehouses are not lit, so bring a flashlight if walking at night.
The Mohicans practices a "Leave No Trace" (LNT) land ethics policy. This means leaving the natural surroundings as you found them, staying on walking paths to protect ground vegetation, not removing items from their original environment, collecting all trash you brought with you into the woods, minimizing fire impact, and educating yourself on rules related to outdoor recreation.
We also ask that you select beverages in non-glass containers to reduce the possibility of glass breakage and injury to guests. Thank you for caring about the environment as much as we do.
For the security and safety of both our guests and the property, please be advised that we have active, visible security cameras located on the exterior of the Farm House and Manor House.
